Airline Credit Card Reviews
February 7th, 2008
In our quest to find the best airline credit cards we have spotted three main characteristics for identifying and picking great deals. Reward credit cards (and that is exactly what airline credit cards are) have to be rewarding and come for free. So first of all we are looking for credit cards with no annual fee.
1. Miles by Discover®
2. Blue Sky from American Express®
3. Citi® Bronze AAdvantage® MasterCard®
4. Capital One® No Hassle Miles (SM) Rewards
More Airlines, More Options
If you always use one company for your air travel needs, you may want to look into a specific card branded by some bank, specifically for that airline carrier. Otherwise it would be better for you to have a card, rewards of which can be used with multiple airlines. At this point our review excludes the Bronze AAdvantage Master Card by Citi from the above list, leaving it to exclusive American Airline customers. Everybody else, follow us further!Bonuses and Additional Benefits
With such a great number of competing credit card companies we have become to expect additional benefits and bonuses that give credit card issuers an edge over their competition and us more reasons to apply for their cards.
We would like to point it out that none of these cards have black-out dates or restrictions for point redemption. The following list shows unique features for each card:
