What are the most popular credit card rewards?

I was just wondering what were the most popular credit card rewards. Is it travel? Gas? Cash bakcs? Seems like a lot of freinds of mine take advantage of the offers with air miles. I also think that cash back cards for gas must be popular.

My favorite category of rewards credit cards is cash back credit cards!
I'm always happy to recieve extra good American cash! You can spend in a way you like the most!

You drive evryday, and it is great that there are credit cards that help you to save on gas evry day!

Cash back credit cards, in general, are the most popular credit cards. They also include gas cash back credit cards and credit cards with reward programs that allow cardmembers to trade their points for checks and gift cards (as good as cash).

Hi guys,
I thnk there is no reason to debate about what reward is the best! Everyone choose one that fits his own interests.
Only responsible credit card users should have rewards credit cards. These cards typically have higher interest rates than nonrewards cards, so they make sense only if you can pay your balances off each month. Otherwise, those interest payments will negate the rewards.
Defaulting will also zap your earnings, so you have to keep your account in good standing.
