Question
Hi.
I have an outrageously low credit score - 541 Shocked due to being a complete idiot for the first few years of my adult life. I already plan on getting a secured credit card
However, I need to get some repairs done on my car and cannot wait to save the money at $50.00 a month.
I can't find any unsecured credit cards for my credit score without close to $200.00 in up-front fees and since I will be getting such a low initial available credit, this will not work. Please help me to find Unsecured Credit Card for bad credit.
I really appreciate it.

Bill.

Don't be so hard on yourself. If I were you I'd get an extra job or something, rather than look for a new card. But if you must get a card to get by for now try talking to peeps in your bank. They may help you with that.

Agree with DanV8, your bank might be the best option for you now. They can see you history with them and will most likely will offer you some kind of secured card.

Well, it seems like Secured credit card is the best solution for people with bad credit!
On the other hand some credit card issuers offer unsecured credit cards for bad credits, in this case more likely your APR will be pretty high.
Yiou can try to apply for the First Premier Bank MasterCard.

We've been getting a lot of questions about the differences between secured credit cards and prepaid credit cards. We've created a page that explains the main features of both kinds of cards. Before you start deciding which card you will get, please read this: Prepaid Credit Cards vs. Secured Credit Cards
