Any one have the card with specific airline such as American Airlines, Northwest, etc?

I wanted to compare and find advantages and disadvantages to some of the more general cards and specific ones.

Thanks.

That is my card since I travel delta a lot. I am satisfied with Delta credit card but it has its disadvantages.
Beeing the owner of Delta Gold SkyMiles card from AMEX gives you benefits of Delta airlines and American Express. I've got 10,000 bonus miles points after first purchase, then 1 point per each $ spent. Moreover, you collecting mile points not only with airline perchase but with regular spendings which great. Enjoy your fee-free balance transfer fromVisa, Discover and MasterCard! American express has fixed APR and great customer service!
From disadvantages I can name annual fee of $85 after first year and that you'd better to travel with Delta!
Well, basically I cannpot comlain about Delta gold skymiles.

I use American Express membership rewards which can be added to the American Express Card for $40 per year. You earn 1 point for every dollar spent. Amex partners include Southwest, Delta, Continental, USAir, TWA Hawaii Airlines, Mariott, Hilton, Best Western, Starwood, Avis, National, and Budget.
This is a good deal if you charge a decent amount on your card and especially if you travel for work.

I just saw a topic about the same card and I asked there a question. If you use your points at partners programs like in Delta or Southwest, is 1 point earned with Amex equal to 1 mile? They were also talking about transferring points to your airline account. Should you do that, or can you reserve tickets directly from your Amex reward account? It looks like you have to pay to transfer your points from Amex, so I don’t know why someone would do that if he can just order tickets without paying that extra fee.

In my opinion, it is not the best Idea to apply for a credit card for specific airline!! As far as i know, but I am not sure it gives you discounts only for specific airline... It is the same like you have Macy's credit card or Low's Credit card. You cannpt use it anywhere else.

If you are crequent flyer you'd bettr to have a card th several airline that gives you miles points, or a card that will work with several airline companies. Much more easier - less headache!
