When making a cash advance with a credit card what are the fees associated with the cash advance?
Also, is the APR for cash advance higher than the regular purchases APR? |

Steve,
Usually cash advance credit cards charge about 3% for the cash advances, however sometimes bank will offer promotional period, where cash advance will be at no charge, meanwhile APR for cash advance credit cards, and for cash advance balance in particular is higher than the purchase APR.
Hope this helps |

creditmix,
Thanks 4 ur response. It make much more sense to me now. Cash advance from credit card isn't the way to access cash when needed.
Thanks again |

Steve B,
I think that still there are some situation in life when you need cash fast...and in these cases cash advance credit cards might be you best and only bet to access cash fast.
However as posts suggests it is not the cheapest way to access cash. |
