Business credit cards vs. charge cards

When does it make more sense to pick a charge card over a credit card for a small business? I've read the article about the plum card. (not sure how to make a link here) It seems like it's a mix of both, or something like that. Anyways... any advice will be appreciated.

In business charge cards are used mostly as an “electronic wallet”. It gives businesses a chance to run most of their transactions through the system that records, sorts and reports all the activities for the company. It makes it much easier to control spending without getting into cumbersome credit card contracts.

Not familiar with the Plum Card, but it seems it is the new offer from AMEX, however it seems that American Express is the only company that offer the charge cards. Basically you have till the end of the billing cycle to pay your balance in full.

What's better credit or charge cards? Well I personally think that combination of both of course might work much better in most cases.

Hi there!

I prefer Business Credit Card. The reason is it has high credit limit adn a lot of benefits.
Of cause, you need to use your business credit card rationally and try to pay off your balance monthly. This way you'll be on the safe side.
My card is American Express Business Gold Rewards Card. I'v erecived 40,000 bonus points when I opened account and it has no limitation on points earning, it means it has no rewards limit.
My spendings are high, so i have earned a lot of points. Now I can get 6 day vaction on Hawaii in the best resorts. American Express Business Cards are awesome!!!

Charge Business card is not bad also!
When you use a charge card you have to pay off balance every month, it helps me to keep my business account debt free and help me to be more organized!
