| just wondering whether credit card rewards are taxable or not. credit card companies pay alot of money in rewards and i bet they write it off their profits as well. it means that money is in reports to irs. do we pay taxes on credit card rewards or not? |

| According to this IRS publication cash rebates are not income. I will not personally guarantee or suggest that my finding is 100% correct. You should probably consult with a professional for that matter. |

i heard actually some people have been receiving notices about not paying their taxes on their reward rebates or whatever you call 'em. so credit card rewards may be taxable after all |
