hello everyone,

Wanted to start a topic here about the 0 credit card applications. It seems that at this moment consumers are looking for zero credit cards much more often than other credit card offers.

I wanted to ask you guys, what are the ways you submitted your applications for you credit car offers. And also, what are some safety issues that might people worry about while submitting credit card applications via internet/mail/phone.

Looking forward for your replies.

I am looking to get zero credit card, and plan to use online application...mail is not the way to send info in the 21st century IMO. But I am sure some people might think different.

yeah, well it seems like zero percent credit card is the only way some of us will go to ease their strugle with overloaded credit balances. it seems like balance transfers are getting more and more popular everyday.

Claudia,

I think that after the sub prime mortgage mess and all, issuers will have to re-evaluate their polices to accept new credit card customers. zero APR cards might become very rear in a near future, but then again, it might be just a temporary thing. I will open 2-3 zero APR credit cards myself just in case, so I have at least a year of "free" money that I can borrow. (free in terms of interest free)

no, mix, i don't think something like that will happen. it's the best time to give guys who still try to make their payments a chance to "jump ship". i think 0% credit cards will be the best attraction for new customers.

Nobody wants to put their personal information in danger.
I never put applivcation over mail or phone, i think it is last century and it is more dangerous. Use internet, nowadays it is safer than other ways. You just should use secured web sites like creditcardmix.com.
Safety tip: look at "lock" sign next to the "apply" button and green color and "lock" sign on the top of web page!

Stay safe! Wink

Well, i have to agree with Claudia.
If a credit card issuer do not offer 0% inro APR there is no chance I'm going to apply for their credit card. This feature is the most attracted for credit card users.
What do you guys think?

Exactly right Claudia if you have a good credit and higher, Exclamation But there ia a group of credit card customers, who has credit line lower than good. Usually, they cannot take advantage of 0% intro APR Sad
I thnk there is fewer and fewer customers who can say taht they hav good credit.
So, banks would not take risk and probably find an alternative for 0% intro APR!?
