Here's my brief review of the platinum card from Bank of America!
The only reason I'm still keeping this card is because I've had it for a while. It's the oldest credit record that I have on my file. I've always used this card and made my payments right on time. But then I was running late for one payment and called them up to pay my balance on the phone. I couldn't believe that they made me pay 15 bucks.
I have a few accounts with Bank of America, not just this platinum card, and generally I have no problems. But they could've made it easier on their clients. I bet they make good juce on the money that I keep in their vaults   |

I am a holder of Bank of America Platinum Card and mostly I like it. I had the same problem as DanV8 when I missed my scheduled payment.
They made me to pay $30, but at least they didn't report it. Nevertheless, I have low APR and BofA Platinum Card offers nice rewards program.
If you are looking for a safe bank and safe credit card apply for Bank of America Platinum Card! |

Hey guys,
I've checked your reviews on Bank of America credit card it sounds O'k. I opened a checking account in Bank of America not so far, but they did not offer me any credit card yet?!
Do you know how can i get it? Is it possible to apply on this credit card on creditcardmix.com?

DanV8, a lot of banks apply charges to phone payments. However in your case, I understand you had to make a quick payment before the due date, try paying online. It is free. However, if you don't have a checking account with Bank of America, then you may have a little problem (and I guess this is exactly what happened). You can't pay your credit card balance unless you have a Bank of America checking account.
No too many of us know this: We can pay B of A credit card with a checking card or check from another bank by following this link: My Easy Payments. This is an official website associated with Bank of America and all credit cards, including Platinum Visa Card, can be paid there. |

 Warning!!!
Bank of America Worst Possible company for credit cards!! Please be sure that you are NOT dealing with Bank of America on credit cards. I have had a Bass Pro VISA for years, and now find out it is recently controlled by Bank of America, which now tells me that my payments for 2 months were late. This is NOT accurate bec both payments were mailed prior to the due date. However, Bank of America will not do anything to help me. They have increased my special 1.99% rate to 24.99%, which results in huge $$ finance charges.
Pls do NOT fall into the same trap with Bank of America!! If you have any accounts with Bank of America, cancel them now. |

| Man, Bank of America knows how to get on people's nerves with them credit cards. Yeah, sorry hearing about that Mobi. Have you cancelled your credit card with them? I’m keeping mine, as I said, it’s the oldest account. Probably wouldn’t be a good idea to close it. |

Yeah, I agree the service is not something they should be proud of.
I hope their reason for keeping myeasypayments website separate from their main site is not to make more money on people who don't know how to pay their bills online.
Anybody else has anything to say about Bank of America and their credit cards? |

I applied for Bank of America Platinum visa card! I looks like they approved me since I have a checking account with them for a while.
I thought it is a good card to have, this credit card have not bad rewards and double points!
However, one of my friends have troubles with them about late payment, it is just happend once, but they raise his minimum payment and charge late feesmth. like $50.
What I've read hear about Bank of America credit cards does not impress me a lot.
Does anybody have a good feedback on Bank of America? |
