Yeah, not too many students here seems like. Guys and girls let's get your kids who is in college or high school to participate here. Student credit cards are very important topic and essential part to establish credit for young adults, I think that they definitely need to ask questions and share their thoughts.

Hi you'll!
I'm a freshman at college, but I have credit card since I've been a senior at High school. Muy parents put me on their credit and were my cosigners.
Thanks them, now I have perfect credit history.
they opened my credit account at the bank they have their chckings, I think it was Bank of America.
Now I have free checking account there and student credit card from them, have no complains!

Take care of your credit history from your student years.

It might be the best way to piggybag your parents credit. However sometimes like in my case it is not possible. Friend of mine is an international student and he does not have parents with US credit he can use. But he open up BoA checking account and apply for credit card. Worked out all right for him, establish credit and now has several top of the line unsecured credit cards with rewards and more.
