Hi,
My friend was in aweful credit situation because of his debts. But he got through that situation with the help of smart people.
I think the first that you have do in bad credit situation is to STOP using your CREDIT CARDS!!!! Otherwise, you'll accumulate your debs even worth.
Put your credit cards away until you have more control of the situation. |

This is a god advice. However, sometimes it is easier to say than do. Agree that use of credit card can only make the situation worse. But also I think that there are should be some ways to start paying and reduce these debts. Extra job maybe one option to pay off that pile of credit card bills. But I definitely agree with MoBi use of credit cards needs to be under more control.
What do you thing any other ways people an help them selfs to get out of debts? |

Improving bad credit is harsh situation
I think the next step after you will put away your credit cards is to get a copy of your cretit report from one of major credit bureaus! That is how you'll know which accounts needs work and which are just fine.
Do not put in any more credit card applications. it will will only decrease your credit score even worth.
take care and be patient... |

| Plastic is absolutely right, to get started you definitely need to get your credit report. That way you'll know all inaccuracies and can fix it. Also, all you delinquent accounts will be there, so you can start working on them as well. |

In the bad credit situation some people don't know what to do and they litterally loosing control by keeping charge their credit cards. I agree with MoBi - you definately need to stop using them.
Well, if you do not know what to do next, get the help of PROFESSIONALS would be helpful.
Resources, like consumer credit counseling, are available to assist you. If you are overwhelmed by your credit situation, seek professional assistance. You can locate a credit counseling agency through the National Foundation for Credit Counseling.
Take care. |

If you've got bad credit you can still get a credit card. You'll just pay more, and the terms of your card deal will be much stiffer than the average cardholder has to deal with.
But handle that deal and you can begin to rebuild your credit and get back to better and better card deals. |
