I think it's a Master Card and you can earn discounts on purchases at amazon.com. It's the only place I shop online so I am seriously considering it. Anyone here have this card? I see you shop at Amazon.com all the time, and indeed amazon.com credit card offer 3 points for every dollar spent at Amazon.com...however after you reach 2500 points all you can get is a gift card for amazon. This credit card is designed for those with very good credit who plan to take advantage of the rewards program. Also, because it is issued by Chase, in addition to Amazon.com rewards the card also offers common platinum benefits provided by Chase that include travel accident insurance, auto rental insurance, and various travel and emergency assistance services. Despite several attempts by me to get him to switch, he still uses it all the time. They use it on practically every purchase they make and have hundreds on dollars in unused gift cards.
